Artemis apartment is situated on the end of a row of three properties lining the beach at Marathounda.

Description

The properties are conversions of the original buildings and are decorated individually to a high standard of comfort and design. Marathounda bay is located towards the southern end of the island, about a 20 minute drive from Symi town. The bay itself is pebbly with wonderfully clear waters ideal for snorkelling. On the beach is Micheali’s taverna which serves traditional Greek dishes as well as fresh fish – this is open throughout the day and evening.

From the beach a gate leads into the terrace which runs the length of the property. From here double doors open into the air conditioned bedroom with double wooden bed, built in wardrobe and a bed settee suitable for a child. Another door leads out the back onto a small terrace/ walk way which overlooks the Marathounda organic farm. An interesting place to take a guided tour and learn about some traditional farming methods.

From the bedroom an archway leads into an ample sized kitchen with fitted unit containing the sink, mini oven and hob. There are also dining table and chairs. From here a door opens into the modern bathroom with half-sized bath with shower and wall mounted hair dryer.

Artemis apartment is ideal for those seeking independence away from the main town and a beach apartment within beautiful surroundings. Why not spend a few days here and then the rest of the holiday in a property back in the main town or village?
